Our report: Growing the Local Food Economy in Scotland, is an analysis of the survey we took of local food businesses to find out more about the challenges they face and to help us to make informed recommendations about what steps are needed next to help to grow the local food economy. Pete Ritchie (Nourish Director) and Cesar Revoredo Giha (SRUC) will be there to tell you all about it and what we feel needs to be done, and to answer any questions. We also have exciting news that we will also be launching our Nourish Scotland / Big Barn collaboration. We are joining forces with Anthony Davison and his fantastic Big Barn website and food map, to form a Nourish Scotland food map and marketplace. Nourish Scotland members who run food businesses will get a discounted membership of the map, and Nourish members who buy products from the website’s marketplace will get a discount on produce they buy. Anthony will be there too to tell us more about it and to meet you.
