Come and participate in Building a Sustainable Food City with Edible Edinburgh

Join a wide range of food-related stakeholders to explore how we can build better local food systems for:
• Health and wellbeing
• Land use
• Environment
• Buying food
• Economy
• Cultural change

This stakeholder gathering will give renewed momentum to realising the Sustainable Food City Plan – highlighting what is happening and helping the people of Edinburgh connect with existing initiatives and get involved. For those working on food in Edinburgh, it offers opportunities for promotion and networking.

We hope that information about the diversity of initiatives in Edinburgh – food growing opportunities, healthy eating, availability of fresh local produce, reducing food waste and ending food poverty – might be brought together on some sort of online hub, gateway or map. And that this will assist in preparing Edinburgh’s Food Growing Strategy due early in 2020.

What do you think would be most helpful? Come and share your ideas! All welcome! Free food.
